My biggest complaint against Etsy and most other online marketplaces is that its hard to find anything unless you already know what you’re looking for. (And sometimes even if you know who you’re looking for!) This can make it tough for sellers to reach their customers.

Cafe Handmade is a relatively new online gallery that is geared for the shopper. Their virtual craft show is set up for people like me, who do their gift shopping without a plan. Each aisle contains about 20 sellers featuring up to 5 items. The key is that each aisle contains handmade wares like bags, silver jewelry, kids clothes, and pottery all mixed together. There’s no filtering through lists of product categories and limiting your choices. You see everything right there, just like in a craft bazaar.

Most of its sellers are on Etsy, Artfire, Made It Myself, or other online marketplaces, and use Cafe Handmade as another venue for showing their work. Check it out…
