First up, it’s Martha Stewart’s new book, The Encyclopedia of Crafts. It’s finally out and I’m really excited to get it. Fair warning: It’s really an encyclopedia of MARTHA’S crafts, not an omnibus of all things crafty.

Also new out this week, is Sock Innovation: Knitting Techniques & Patterns for One-of-a-Kind Socks by cookie a. It’s a master class of sock design, telling you how to adapt your own designs into sock patterns. It might be a little over my head, but I’m intrigued.

And finally Sewing Green: 25 Projects Made with Repurposed & Organic Materials by Betz White and John Gruen. I just pledged to only re-fashion my clothes for two months at Wardrobe Re-fashion, so this book is right up my alley.
