While I’m trying my best to bring bags with me when I shop, I find the ones for sale at the supermarket both HIDEOUS and ODDLY NOT PORTABLE. Enter Martha, who has a super-simple bag made out of a t-shirt.

To make a GOOD THING even better: Use a shirt sleeve to sew a tuck pocket on the back bottom corner of the bag. That way, you can fold the shirt up accordian-style and tuck it into the pocket when not in use.
